Sugar Syrup

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Method:

Place sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently until the mixture condenses into a clear, sweet syrup, approximately 5 minutes. Cool. You can use immediately or store indefinitely in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Cosmopolitan

Ingredients:

1-1/2 ounces (45ml) Vodka
1/2 (15ml) ounce Cointreau
1 ounce (30ml) Cranberry juice
1/2 ounce (15ml) lime juice

Method:

Combine in a shaker with crushed ice. Strain into rocks glass

Pina Colada

Ingredients:

2 ounces (60ml) aged rum
1 teaspoon coconutmilk
2 teaspoons pineapple juice

Method:

Mix in a blender with crushed ice. Strain into chilled cocktails glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge.

Rusted Nail

Ingredients:

2 ounces (60ml) Scotch(Not Irish)
1 ounce (30ml) Drambuie Liquer
Lemon twist

Method:

Pour the Scotch, then the Drambuie into an Old-Fashioned glass. Add some ice cubes and garnish with a lemon twist. Also can be stirred in a mixing glass and served over crushed ice in a Highball glass.

Gloom Lifter

Ingredients:

2 ounces (60ml) Irish Whiskey
1/2 ounce (15ml) Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Sugar Syrup
1 Egg White
Dash of Grenadine (optional)

Method:

Shake ingredients with cracked ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Salty Dog

Ingredients:

Wedge of lemon
Coarse
2 ounces(60ml) Vodka
Chilled fresh grapefruit

Method:

Frost the rim of a highball glass using lemon juice and coarse salt. Half-fill the glass with ice cubes and pour in the vodka. Top up with chilled grapefruit juice to taste. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Screwdriver

Ingredients:

1 ounce (30ml) Vodka
2 ounce (30ml) Orage Juice

Method:

Combine over ice and strain well.
